Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 July 2026. This policy explains how we handle personal data.

This Privacy Policy describes how Atemi ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our marketing website or when a club uses our platform. We are committed to handling data lawfully and transparently under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the other data protection laws that apply where you and your members are based.

Note: This is a template provided as part of the product marketing site. Before going live, have it reviewed by a qualified data protection adviser and replace the placeholder contact details with your own.

Who is responsible for your data

For our marketing website and enquiries, Atemi is the data controller. When a club runs its members on our platform, the club is the controller of its members' data and Atemi acts as a data processor on the club's instructions under a data processing agreement.

What we collect

  • Enquiry data. When you book a demo or contact us, we collect your name, club name, email, phone and anything you tell us.
  • Usage data. Standard analytics such as pages viewed, device type and referrer, collected to improve the site.
  • Platform data. On behalf of clubs, the platform processes member records, attendance, bookings and billing metadata needed to run the club.

Payment card and bank details are handled directly by regulated third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers or bank details on our systems.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo.
  • To provide, secure and improve the platform.
  • To send service messages, and marketing only where you have opted in.
  • To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases

We rely on legitimate interests to run and improve our service and to respond to enquiries, consent for optional marketing, contract performance to deliver the platform to clubs, and legal obligation where the law requires it.

Sharing

We share data only with trusted processors that help us run the service, including hosting, our database provider, email and SMS delivery, and the payment providers named above. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to follow up and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymise it. Club platform data is retained under each club's own instructions and deleted on request or when the agreement ends.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Where a club controls your data as a member, please contact that club first.

International transfers

Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
